Justice
The week after SAT was like a weekend for me, actually, everything besides SAT seems easy right now. Not only easy, but also goes faster than it used to be. However, one thing is going on right now caught many people’s attentions and affected many people’s health.  “AHHH! I’m sick!” “AHHH! My stomach hurts!” People around me got sick one after another because of food poisoning in dining hall.
“Nina! Don’t eat the orange in the Dining Hall! They are rotted.” Said one of my friends. “I’m afraid of Dining Hall’s food right now! Many people ate it and got food poisoned!” I’m a little bit worried about the people who are sick around me and about the food in the Dining Hall. Since there is a proverb saying in China: Food is the paramount necessity of the people. We value the food as the basic of people’s lives. Only if we eat, we are able to learn, to work, and to live on our lives. The food we eat would definitely affect our health and energy. Therefore, when I heard that the food in the Dining Hall is in danger, I decide to eat only cooked food instead of fresh fruits and vegetables. After this shocking news, I decided to learn the word “health” in French. The word “health” in French is “santé”. After all, I hope that our Dining Hall would back to normal and my friends would get well soon.
Since the SAT had passed, I have started to count down for my next exam, which are the Toefl exam and the final exams. I’m going to take the Toefl exam on May 23 and the final exams are in the beginning of June. When talking about the Toefl exam, I’m not that nervous compare to the SAT since it’s easier, and I get more chances to take it. However, when I register for the Toefl exam, I realized that it cost me 190 dollars to register it for once. This is not a small amount of money, and I think it’s kind of unfair for the ETS to make a large amount of money on the international students. Compare to the tests provide by the College Board, the Toefl really has an excessive demand on the test fee. This kind of social phenomena should really make people think about. Therefore, I picked the word “fairness” in French, which is “justice”. The French word is the same with “justice” in English, so it’s easy for me to remember it.

In the end, I really hope that there would be more justice in this world, and people would care more about each other. As the result, the world would be better around us.
