SAT IS COMING!!!
“Everybody, time’s up! Now put down your pencil.” I dreamed about the scene when I was taking SAT on Saturday morning, and I still felt like it was a dream since it took me four hours to take the test, and the test killed tones of my brain cells. You can’t imagine how anxious I was before taking the SAT, and I became a completely different person after the SAT. My friend said the SAT turned me from a nice angel into an evil devil, but I disagree about the nice angel part because I used to be a nice devil. The most exciting part on Saturday was not to wake up at 6am, or to take the SAT on Saturday. Instead, the most exciting part is to have a tennis game under the burning sun right after taking the SAT. Isn’t that wonderful? Even more wonderful thing was that I lost the game… So, the word of the day on Saturday was the word “ wonderful” in Latin. The word “Wonderful” in Latin is “Mirabile”, which is similar to the English word “Mirable”. Anyway, I began to sleep after dinner around eight ‘o clock since I had trouble opening my eyes…
“Wake up! Wake up!” When I opened my eyes, I not only saw my roommate standing right next to my bad, but also heard a large noise was ringing repeatedly in my room. After adjusting the environment, I finally realized that it was the fire alarm ringing like crazy! With out any panic, I grabbed my cellphone and began to post this fire news on my social media while walking outside… And I saw there was someone even posted the news earlier than I did. It was only ten o’ clock in the morning. Everyone was on their phone when I got out, and the people who live in my dorm were all complaining about how they were awaked by the alarm. It turned out that was a girl in my dorm used too much hair spray, which caused the fire alarm. When I got back to my room, I fall asleep again very quickly. It was already 1pm after I woke up, and I still felt very tired. It was all because of the SAT… But I still have to get up and do my homework and review for my test for Monday. So, the word of the day is “tired” in French. The word “tired” in French is “fatigue”, which is similar to the word “fatigue” in English.
There was only less than one month till final, and many of my friends are going to graduate this year. Besides my loath to be apart with them, I really hope that they will have a nice life in college, and I hope that good luck will accompany them all the time!
