My Winter Break

Winter Break is coming only in a few days. I feel so excited, and I’m eager to go back to China right now. There are so many things that I would like to do during the break. However, it’s only a 17 days break, and I have to take a 10 days SAT course since I’m planning to take the SAT in March. I know from the beginning of the break that I’m going to be really busy in this break.
For me, there is only a 7 days break since I have to be in the SAT class for rest of the 10 days. For that 7 days break, I’m going to go to visit all my family members and my friends because I have been missing them when I’m in school. I’m going to eat delicious Chinese food with them, such as dumplings, hotpot, and so on. My hometown Beijing is going to be really cold in December. There is a custom in China that if you did not eat dumplings at the beginning of the winter, your ears would drop when the wind blows. Therefore, the first dish I’m going to eat when I arrived in Beijing is dumping. Just in case my ears will not drop. Despite the hard wind in Beijing, I’m going to ski with my parents. There will be lots of fun when I ski with my parents because they don’t know how to ski. I can imagine the wind blow through my hair when I ski, and that makes me feel relaxed. Instead of going for a movie, I’m going to the temple to wish for good luck with my parents. Since New Year is coming, there is nothing more important than wish for good luck and hope my whole family to be healthy in the New Year. On the New Year’s Eve, I’m going to stay with my best friends and spend the last few hours with them. We are going to see the colorful fireworks in the sky and count down together. There are always happy memories in the New Year’s Eve because it’s glad to have many good friends to stay with.
Last but not the least, school is always important since I’m a junior right now. I have no choice but to take the SAT course before my senior year. Hope my dream school will accept me, and all my family members and friends including me will always be accompany by good luck in 2015.
Time flies like the speed of light, and 2014 is almost past right now. There were tons of good and bad memories, but I’m glad to see that all the people that I know are going pretty well. Nothing is more important than a healthy life. Even if there is something that you feel unsatisfied with, be thankful to see the sunlight that shine through your window every morning.
