Gregory, the Cat
Gregory
is a lovely Persian cat of mine. He has pride and grace; he looks like a dancer
when he slowly lifts and lowers each paw, and that’s how he walks. His pride,
however, has nothing to do with his appearance, for most of the time he stays inside
watching television and growing fat. He is mad with TV commercials, especially the
commercials about Meow Mix and 9 Lives. Although he likes watching cat food
commercials, he hates some kids of cat food; the only thing he wants is the
most expensive cat food. The visitors are as picky as what he eats to Gregory. While
being friends with some people, he hates those who are not his friends. He may
snuggle up against your ankle, begging to be petted, or he may act evil and
bite you. The purpose for Gregory to do the actions is not to establish his
territory, as many cat experts think, but to humiliate me because he feels jealous
of my friends. After my guests have departed, I look at the adorable old
fleabag snoozing and smiling to himself in front of the TV, and I would forgive
him for the obnoxious, but endearing, performances he acts.
